IMPACTS
North America has been established in 1996 as an international
initiative of NACTO, the National Association of City Transportation
Officials.
Founding
members are Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago,
Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia,
Phoenix and Seattle.
NACTO
Center is located at the RUDIN Center for Transportation
Policy and Management, NYU, NY. Eliot Sander, formerly Commissioner
of NYC Department of Transportation and founder of NACTO
is the Executive Director of the RUDIN Center.
The
Executive Committee of IMPACTS North America is chaired by Grace
CRUNICAN, Commissioner for Transportation
of Seattle, Professor Ilan
Juran, Executive
Director of the Urban Infrastructure Institute, Polytechnic
University, NY is the Secretary General.
