Established
in 1996 IMPACTS North America is an international initiative
of NACTO, the National Association of City Transportation
Officials.
- Founding members are Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Los
Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Seattle.
- NACTO
is led by a President and two Vice Presidents, each with
2-year terms, and is advised by its former Presidents.
The Executive Director for the Association resides at the
NYU Wagner Rudin Center for Transportation Policy and Management
in New York City.
- Professor Ilan
Juran, Executive Director of the Urban
Infrastructure Institute, Polytechnic University, NY
is the Secretary General of IMPACTS North America.
