URBACT II

A final agreement is expected to be reached on URBACT II when its Programming Committee meets in Berlin on March 15th 2007. The main objective of the URBACT II programme is "to improve the effectiveness of sustainable integrated urban development policies in Europe with a view to implementing the Lisbon and Göteborg strategies".

Members might like to keep an eye on this EU programme as it has themes that include transport and mobility issues."
